〜ロシアとの国境の街で、キッチンから見えたもの〜
今年の8月から2ヶ月間、エストニアのロシア国境に位置するNarva市のレジデンスに参加した本原令子さんと花坊さんをお招きして報告会を行います。
そのウチの定番料理を教わって一緒につくったり、食べたりしながら話したことを記録する「Kitchen Stories」プロジェクトの一環として、お二人が訪ねた人々のこと、エストニア人も驚くというNarva市の独特な成り立ちについて伺います。
Narvaの台所で教わったボルシチや、エストニアの飲み物とスナックをご用意して湯河原にてお待ちしています。ぜひご参加ください。

本原令子
陶芸家/美術家。多摩美術大学美術学部グラフィックデザイン科卒業、ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アート（ＲＣＡ）セラミックスアンドグラス修士課程修了。「土があれば何でもできる」をテーマに、2013年から5年間に渡って続けてきた静岡市の登呂遺跡を舞台にしたアートプロジェクト「ARTORO(アートロ)」の活動を記録したエッセイ、「登呂で、わたしは考えた。」を執筆。

花坊
東京生まれ。独学で写真を学び、ファッション誌、音楽雑誌や広告、ミュージックビデオを舞台に活動。1998年エリック・コットの映画『ドラゴンヒート』のスチール写真の撮影をきっかけに、「double x」に参加。香港にもベースを構え、独自のスタイルを発表し続ける。2003年、IdNギャラリーで『Now you see it, Now you don’t』展開催。2004年秋に同名の作品集を発表する。2021年にProject Atamiへ参加。

~What we saw from the kitchen in a town on the Russian border~
A talk with Reico Motohara and Kabo, who spent two months in the Estonian city of Narva on the Russian border from August this year.
As part of the ‘Kitchen Stories’ project, which records the conversations they had while learning to cook and eat together the standard dishes of the local family, the two will talk about the people they visited and the unique characteristics of Narva, which often surprise even Estonians.
Borscht from Narva’s kitchens and Estonian drinks and snacks will be served at the event. Please come and join us.
