Waves Project は、アーティストのピメリコが主体となり2021年に発足した団体で、2022年には神奈川県湯河原町に拠点となる同名のアーティストラン・スペースをオープンしました。現代アートを軸に、音楽や工芸、ファッションなど多様な分野と交わりながら展覧会やイベントを企画し、地域の自然や素材を活かしたリサーチやワークショップを行っています。湯河原の土地に根ざしつつ国内外のネットワークを広げ、アートを通じて新しい視点や価値観を社会に創出することを目指しています。
Waves Project is an artist-run organization initiated by the artist Pimeriko in 2021, and in 2022 it opened a space of the same name in Yugawara, Kanagawa. Centered on contemporary art, the project organizes exhibitions and events in dialogue with diverse fields such as music and crafts, while also conducting research and workshops that make use of local nature and materials. Rooted in the environment of Yugawara and expanding international networks, Waves Project aims to generate new perspectives and values in society through art.
