作家プロフィール
1982年群馬県生まれ。ロンドン芸術大学チェルシー・カレッジにて絵画を学び、2009年グラスゴー芸術大学にてMFA修了。農業や劇場あるいは電車内といった特定の環境下における道具とそこから 導かれる動作に着想を得て、日常に溢れている一見関連のないモノとイメージを組み合わせて立体 作品やインスタレーションを制作している。
主な展覧会に、「黄金町バザール」(2019/ 2020/ 2021、 神奈川)、「Causality and synchronicity」(2019、Then Container、東京)、「OUT OF BOUNDS」( 2019、Bloc Projects、イギリス)など。

Artist profile
Born 1982 in Gunma Prefecture. Studied painting at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, and completed an MFA at Glasgow School of Art in 2009. Inspired by tools and actions in specific environments such as agriculture, theatre and trains, she creates sculptures and installations combining seemingly unrelated objects and images from everyday life.
Major exhibitions include Koganecho Bazaar (2019/2020/2021, Kanagawa), Causality and synchronicity (2019, Then Container, Tokyo) and OUT OF BOUNDS (2019, Bloc Projects, UK).
